I knew Asahina was Shimobe's ally right from the get-go. didn't expect Miori was as well, I'd have to admit that (tho it was poorly done). I waited for Wada's death the most as he was the most violent character - ended up hating it. there were so many possibilities to do so, too. ugh, so displeased.
anyway... premise is new, afaik. and if you like fast-paced twists and revelations with relatively minimal gore, I suggest you give this a read.
