I don't think the chapter was confusing
Rather the prints were in a very low resolution so I kinda struggled to read everything, but I could understand.

So it seems like Jaeho's father was aware of Jaeho and tried to be involved but was shut out by his mother. And the dad is some sort of business man. He happened to be where Liu was being kept while he was being drugged to display the effects for buyers. The psycho kid got his drug picked up by a major company and Liu was the model for display. Liu had tried to break out several times but would have his dose increased and his dependency worsened. Then he heard of the previous kid dying of overdose so he agreed to be shown off to the buyers in attempts to get his hands on the drugs, O.D, and die.
The dad happened to come across his room and get in (dad accidentally got key to the kid's room?) and not having fluent Chinese, plus a super panicked Liu, Liu rushed out to escape. The dad chased after him and tried to talk to him. He talked about how he just found out about his own son, who is Jaeho, so we know this guy is who would become who Liu would respect, be indebted too, and treat like a master. Because it seems the dad then rescues Liu or is about to.
