i started reading “The Golden Haired Wizard” and the beginning reminded me of something i’ve read before but i can’t recall the name. so it starts out pretty much the same. the mc (which i think is a guy) gets in an bus accident and ends up underground with a few other passengers. he starts overseeing everyone and keeping them calm. also taking care and watching over their food and water supply. i think like a kid ends up taking the mc’s part of water or food, idk it’s been awhile. i think at the end when they finally get rescued all of them end up dead or a good majority. if this rings a bell for anyone pls lmk!!
