No incest, just brother complexes... I don't know if Nanao (?) ever had a crush on Michiru or not but he was a huge fan of Shiou's. The translation does get confusing. I prefer the Kuroneko series to this one, it's not as confusing, but this one is cute... wish they'd kept up the "government dogs" thing in Kuroneko (and had more of these guys in it).
They are blood-related, there's a scene where Michiru is talking to his mother and she says that his dad is half lion, half African wildcat.

I started this just bc was related to “ Kuroneko Kareshi No...” and without reading the plot/ watching the tags i read thinking of it as yaoi/ shounen ai.
At the beginning i thought it was a story between not blood related brothers, then they mentioned the blood relationship, so i thought of it as an incest but now, after seeing that michiru’s friend keep taking pics of him/ blushing when they are together it’s obvious that he has a crush on him and maybe it’s for this the “shounen ai” tag.?.
I’ll finish it now, if there’ll be a plot twist I’ll edit this comment
