Oh geez

I love Princess Jellyfish a lot, even if I feel that the ending was super rushed. I thought I’d like this too because of it.......

NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I FELT SO FRUSTRATED AND STRESSED READING A STORY.

I’m only 17 and yet this work has me stressing so hard I feel like my hair is gonna fall out lol. First for praise I do feel that this was probably a very realistic depiction of womanhood. I especially liked how the Nail Tech friend (Kairo? I can’t remember) left her cheating ex. But for the majority of this story I disliked. Every. Single. Character. With maybe the exception of Mr. Hasagawa but even then he was 35 dating a 19 year old :/ Oh, and the movie guy even if he was a bit annoying/obsessed.

My frustration has to lie most with Key though. He is just such an absolute prick. Half the time I agreed with what he was saying even but he is so harsh and unforgiving it gets abusive very fast. I have no idea why Rinko would like him past his face. Yes we are given the reason he acts like this but he is never ever developed past it land never admits fault. The fact that Rinko sacrifices a man she seemed genuinely happy with and who she had been looking back on for a majority of the series just so she can make Key happy is so depressing to me? Why should a woman sacrifice her life just to fix a very mean man? Ugh....I was really hoping she’d go back to Hasagawa....
