From this point onwards, there will be many events that will unfold drastically, and we will get the back to the focus of the story which is arthur being in action for a greater purpose. Arthur mentioned in the LN that in his previous life, he rejected all the opportunity of having someone to protect as to avoid having weaknesses. I think the author is trying to make arthur experience things he hasn’t before being reincarnated. I don’t know about you, but I do want him to experience it because going into war with the Vritra clan. His training will take another couple of years far away from the people he wants to protect so let’s just give him this moments.
