You guys should check out http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/stigmata_seikon_sousa/ if you haven't already ! the prequel is shounen ai, personally i think its pretty underrated and if u wanna read something refreshing which focuses less on the romance and more drama/action, then its perfect. it is slightly discomforting tho so TW: gore, blood.
The sequel: Focuses more on the couple and their growth (if ur still interested heh)
