So spoilers the baby lives and turns out fine. They have twins named Lilian and Kaar. After that they get kidnapped and imprisoned by Kiel’s brother. Kaal ( keil’s brother) starts a war with the land dwellers. After that the story basically switches POV and is told mostly through the eyes of the resistance fighters Pamala, Chase, Daniel ( Pamela’s future husband/ leader of the resistance) and Gilly ( who is honestly the best character in the whole book). Very little of the second half of the but has Kiel and Sylvia in it. It’s mostly a semi interesting war drama.
