If you are a fan of the manhwa or the novel, you might not like what I tought of it however. The art is very good, so best wishes for the artist. I hope he or she will carry on and be able to draw her own story rather than making adaptions. The plotline however? I have no idea what came across the author of the novel but in the end critical mistakes were made that switched her attemps at twisting clichés of an isekai basic story (I suppose it was what she wanted to do) by twisting the plotline instead.

- The abuse was treated as a convient writting tool rather than an essay of the psychological trauma it created. Yes, she was given PTSD, but the actual consequences of it were actually unseen including in the novel. She woke up one day after having a dream of her telling her to stop being afraid and that was it. It's problematic for two reasons: healing is of course not that simple and it was used as the reason was she was at least finally confortable staying near Ruve. And it was not good enough justification because the last time they meet he screamed at her and put her into a comatose state. Even without the trauma, her tought process should have been "Alright, he do hate me after all and is going the same path that the First timeline. Time to be more caution than ever».

- The main character was given the typical « villainess plot line » when it was ill stuited in regard of her past. She was without a doubt the victim that had done nothing wrong. She did her job. She did not force herself between Ji-eun and Ruve (He was the one forcing her, and she could not have refused even if she had wanted to because nobility below the Emperor and blood vow and all), she never complained despite the abuse and never attacked Ji-eun. The only thing she did wrong was the assassination attempt on Ruve, but it was after being framed, humiliated, raped and then told that her father, the reaosn why she endured all that, had actually already been executed. I would dare to say that Ruve had it coming. Thus switching her to a childish and clueless behavior when she is even older and normally wiser, having her have the more character develpoment and take the more actions of the two feel like victim-blaming and misoginistic. It might, and probably is not, what the author intended but it's what the plot line tell us.

- The ML. The poison as well and the jalousy and inferiority complex does not work. The poison because it could not have been targetted at Tia only. The jaleousy because it's bases on his petty character, not on Tia's fault. Meaning that he is the one in the wrong. Then in the second timeline, because he started by still hating it, we got the 16 years old him targetting the 11 years her and it's not pretty to see at all. Then he get jalous, this time over her instead, and switch to be super pushy and self-centered instead. We don't get to see actual development because he just change from one type of awfull guy to another one. It does not work as a love story because, with the First timeline and the fact that it was clearly established thar hr feelings were forced by Vita, Tia should be over him completly. We did't even get to se him choose between Tia and Ji-eun because he could see clearly that Ji-eun hated him too. Instead we got her asked herself as soon as the 20 first chapter if they are not fated after all, blushing at him, overloking her other love interests and so one when he was still awfull. Once again it does not help with the victim blaming feeling and make it a bad psycological love story. Relying so much on the first timeline, not basing the devlomment on actual « new grounds » but on her changing to suit him and so on make it disturbing and very unrealistic.

i'm just a fan & 100% agree i didn't like the so called love story between ruvell and tia bc i thought that she was atleast end up with cartsein or allen for obvious reasons or atleast become the head of the household and be her fathers sucessessor and the way she died was horrible in every way in her past life and in the new onw i thought that she was gonna forget that abusive and controlling guy and find another bc she had options this life and yet still went back to such a person in the end but i can't say much bc it's not my story but all we as fans can is just support the author and just leave small remarks on how we felt while reading don't you say but other might put extra the amount of hate just to prove a point that the storyline is crap bc it should have gone a certain way but that's not how all the stories supposed to go and i find it was a but to unrealistic but that is the way the author made it so all i really wanted was for tia to have a happy ending and that's what i got even tho it was not how i would have liked it to be but it was a nice ending.
