i won't deny that the emperor is really cute but he seems very one dimensional. he seems more of a side character than one of the main characters. the chemistry between the female lead and male lead is there, but it definitely needs more work on the male lead's part. his temper is terrible and from his actions, i don't understand how the empire has not already met its downfall, he is really childish and way too driven by emotions to be qualified as an emperor
He became emperor at a very young age so it makes sense, but he’s got like a dozen advisors and he’s always working on stuff that he tries to run away from. So I think he might be one of those who’s books smart which allows him to run the country, but everything else needs growth.

definitely! so far, the manga has yet to show us scenes where he displays his qualities as an emperor. i can only think of one scene off the top of my head where he's working on problems, but even that is a bit reaching in my opinion
