Regardless, I still feel super sad for Mu because Andrew was all he had. But I also feel bad for Song because technically he is still the person who comforted Mu in the form of "Andrew." He should have been apologetic from the start but I guess he was also scared to revel himself as he really likes Mu but Mu never liked him for him. I agree that doesn't make up for his behavior before, but his love for Mu changed him and he did try to change things around school too. So there was definitely was character development there
I think they both deserve the right to clear out things between each other (spoiler: which will eventually happen as per the novel)
