Agree! Its not because she doesn't realize but she's still hoping that because she was given multiple chance, she might be able to receive some acceptance and love but as you can see the 7th life is her turning point when the brother is willing to sacrifice her for the sake of step-sister.
From what I am reading into the story. I feel very vindicated. Some people are upset that it took her 7 tries to realize the shitty people around her. I, on the other hand, am sad because of it. I think it shows her love and crave for acceptance from all those around her, especially her father and brother. Think about it, her first life sounded like the worse, used and experimented on by her blood family?! And she crawled back hoping to find a way for love and acceptance still... She literally had to have her heart broken to make this the one where she stand up and walk away from all she know and all she ever wanted... So yeah, smite them, bring on every natural disasters, break arms and feet! Make this life your own!
