Wait did the story change or did I miss something???? I thought Eve didn’t trust Mikhael because she thought he was responsible for her death and manipulating Rosie. Why is she so nice to him and getting all blush with him then? In her past life she hated him

She never hated him. She had the mindset that her family deserved what happened to them for exploiting the homunculi and included herself in that since in her mind, as she wasn't able to stop it, she was just as guilty. She was afraid of him since she thought he would kill her at some point and she got mad when he told her he was not going to kill her since she interpreted it as him keeping her as some pet or slave to punish her for her family's crimes. All in all she saw him as a danger to her, but not as the actual villain. All the time, she knew the villains were her family and he was just doing the right thing by killing them and taking over the kingdom.

Yeah I know she believes her family was the true enemy and feels guilty for not standing up for her family but I went back and read the first chapters and she clearly thinks Mikhael manipulated everything. She misinterprets him saying that he wanted to be her knight as “ I needed a dumb princess to fall for my trap”. She misinterprets Mikhael protecting her as him playing with her and misinterprets Rosie as being innocent and falling for his trap which causes her to her. Rosie was actually a bad person but she thought she just became corrupted by Mikhael. She sees her family as being responsible for the homunculi reveling but Mikhael responsible for her death. But when it gets to the later chapters she does a whole 180 and places the entire blame on Rosie. Obviously Rosie is actually a horrible person but she didn’t know that then but somehow trusts Mikhael out of no where which just doesn’t make sense. It’s like the first chapter is a whole different story

She probably thinks Mikhael turned out that way because of the mistreatment homunculi gets. Like, he had no choice to take ower the kingdom. She is just trying to prevent another tragedy from happening by keeping him in her side and becoming the crown princess. There is no point in hating him. I don't think she hated him at the start either. She was just scared and angry. Also now she knows Rosie isn't as innocent as she thought because she remembers how she killed her. Also idk which part ure referring to when u say she thinks Rosie was corrupted thanks to Mikhael. I didn't read anything like that

Uh for the most part, she understands why he did what he did, and she knew she was more of collateral damage for the rebellion, which she wished she couldve prevented. She realized he manipulated Rosie, but again it was all justifiable revenge drom the humonculi. She was honestly ambivalent towards him until Rosie told her she would be killed cruelly, but as she died, Rosie revealed everything. Therefore, to her mind, his actions were understandable, and she regretted that she couldnt prevent the bloodshed
