They don't really describe why at all in this manga or Monri's manga. I get that they had a physical relationship, but what about emotional, was it one sided love..
What?

It wasn't that he was in love with him per say, more like in lust. He was Strait before Minori sensei, and was also freaking out about that

There was probably a good bit of transference going on there. Minori put himself into the role of a therapist with Tatsuyuki, more than "just a chiropractor," as he protested in the beginning and opened the door for that kind of thing.

Minori also offered a safe place for Tatsuyuki to let himself go, not just sexually. At the start of chapter one of Minori no Te, Tatsuyuki is angry, combative, weighed down by the position he's expected to take over. Then in this story, we learn about his childhood trauma and just why that responsibility weighs so heavily on him. Minori gave him a release, put him in touch not just with his sexuality but with the side of his personality we see him embrace in this story through his relationship with Nozomi, his great capacity to carry responsibility that he had been running away from.

So even though it wasn't really love, for Tatsuyuki it was such a powerful connection, it felt like love. And yeah, I think it was one-sided.
