Ok so I think MC is living in 2 alternate world/reality
Both the worlds are real, when she sleeps in one world she wakes up in the other.
In one of the world she killed her love(that short black haired lady/her bff) and i think her desire to see her again made her cross to where her love is still alive??
When MC killed her self in that world so she stopped wakeing up in that world and now she can say to her self. . . . " SMILE, IT'S JUST A DREAM " . . . .
. . .
. . . . . . but actually it was not . . .and she knows.
