So i know this is pretty hard to read and the characters are completely messed up but thats not bad storytelling. The story doesn't try to be a fun, fluffy read. For example the rape scene was the climax of everything that had been happening up until that point and it completely turned over the characters' dynamic and the readers' view on them. And while so many other manga show zero psychological consequences after rape scenes and use them as a tool for eroticism, this one depicts it as horrifying, awful and deeply traumatizing, which is much closer to the reality. It does feel juvenile and it is toxic and you don't have to like it but personally i still think it's a good story.

I'll agree with you on the rape thing, it's the first time I've seen it as crude and terrible as it is, i almost cry like the poor kis was traumatized and crying rivers god, I'm tired of the fetichized way that most of yaoi artist put it.

This manga too did the exact same thing you guys said. Just in a different way. Eroticism can be portrayed in different ways. And although I thought it to be quite realistic at first. I'm kind of getting the feeling this is some personal fetish of the author.
To be more precise, the psychological trauma he faced was very alleviated. It was presented to get the characters closer to each other almost. And after that it was treated like some sort of joke. I'm not expecting consequences or jail to the perpetrators. But treating them like what happened was some sort of minor scuffle? "Oh it's all fine now because I have him tickets to our show"
This wasn't treated seriously. Just more fucked up but still an absolute joke.
And it seems the author does this type of content a lot?
