This is something that annoys me about survival stories. The worst characters always survive but the better character don't. Annoying Shunya and Useless Noriko.
Literally my man Kiriyama Kazuo deserves better. If this is realistic, Kiriyama will survive, not those two sh!ts.
Also I hate how in the live action, they totally ruin Kiriyama character.
