First, i see why someone will give this a 4, but I'll give it a 5. Second, I actually enjoyed this a lot. This story accomplishes something most stories lack: consistency. In most [BL]stories characters change over time and in a character development sort of way. Instead, they change to fit the story. It should be the way around. Just think of how many times you've reread a story and realized that the uke's personality was extremely different at the start (usually stronger). The characters in the story, while unusual, are very consistent throughout the story. Third, the author delivered good dialogue and storytelling. While I don't base my reviews off the quality of the dialogue (because this is a translation), I would like to comment on it being very natural and genuine AKA very human they're not exaggerated characters. The storytelling was good too. Fourth, my only complaint about the story is the 'second couple'??? Honestly, I really don't understand them. I feel like we didn't get a proper intro to the dude that looks like the stalker. Their placement was just very odd. I understand that they moved the story, but I wasn't connected enough to them to understand their impact. Again, they were just planted into the story weirdly. Lastly, I really liked the art.
