I agree with you <3 I think Uryu is a better match with Orihime. I was kinda disppointed that Ichigo and Orihime end up together,, it doesn't feel "right" (if you know what I mean) I ship Rukia and Ichigo, but Rukia X Renji also makes sense. I think Tatsuki X Ichigo is a better match than Orihime X Ichigo. Well, that's just my opinion XD
I agree 100%!!! Honestly, am I ad about the ichigo x orihime match? Nah. I just think they are better in a more almost-like-siblings sort of relationship. I personally think the author was pushed into this direction. It’d have been nice to see some obvious hints as to why they end up in the relationships they do, because honestly for the longest time I thought uryu had the biggest crush on orihime.
But I agree! I could sooooo see tatsuki x ichigo, like they have such similar vibes personality-wise and interest-wise.
But i think y'all are forgetting Orihime's feelings here , she has the biggest crush on Ichigo from the beginning right? Well idk if its only me, but for me it was always Ichigo and orihime together as well as Rukia and Renji and with their kids its just soo cute ahhh i really wanted more eps with their kids included.
Oh no totally, it was obvious about her crush. Plus Ichigo had other things to worry about, I just feel bad about uryu since he had a hardcore crush on orihime too from the get go. I love ichigo and while at the end it did feel pushed (which I believe the author said he was pushed into including romance) I’m not upset about it, I just like the other possibilities as well. LOL I did notice that ichigo was especially protective of orihime, which I find super cute.
I hope eventually maybe there’s a spin-off with their kids as childhood friends! That’d be so adorable! There’s still hollows and the soul society, peace is never forever, so maybe it’s in the workings? Kinda like what Naruto did.
All in all, I made that comment bc I love all of the characters so even if orihime DID end up with Uruhyn I’d be like “hmmm what about ichigo” LOL I’m just dreaming of the other possibilities and wanted to see if anybody else was too. I wish to see more about everyone’s life after the fact, even if they don’t end up with something I want to see if they reached their aspirations.

Honestly I was never much of a Rukia fan. Orihime was always my favorite... but I kinda shipped her and ulqiorra. Oops HAHAHA IS THAT BAD? OR URYU! I feel like orihime x uryu have a better “homely” dynamic. Hell, even chad. I felt the orihime and ichigo dynamic was pushed a little, which I don’t blame the author if anything it’d be the editors who’d push it.
I do think rukia and renji make sense though. Childhood friends -> lovers is a cute idea.
Edit: I do want to add that I love the orihime x ichigo ending, they are cute together and orihime did have a crush from the beginning. I just know that tite kubo was pressured into doing some romance around the time orihime left with ulqiorra. I would’ve honestly been happy if they had no romance or fell in love with random people but still kept in touch, as long as they were all happy. The biggest plus for me is that everyone is happy in the end, there were some tragic deaths (like ukitake) but all in all, compared to a lot of manga (especially newer manga) it was a happy ending.
Ughhhhhhhhhhh if anybody does read this can people recommend more action manga with happy endings, I’m tired of reading shit that’s tragic (but awesome) throughout for it to only end tragically. Like can’t people be happy
