I agree with tessia that arthur should take her feeling seriously and not make light of it. But at the same time I cannot fault arthur either. Its not like tess does her confession smoothly, she jump the gun and expect arthur to react within her expectation while also knowing how arthur is. There are many ways to reject someone, its not necessarily you have to be rejected outright (while some people need it). Though her characters its in line with her age at least. No idea how to measure arthur with his mind and body having different age.
