yo if that's really your jam there's several sites on the internet where you can mingle with other people of the same interests; distance or irl. if you really do intend to get yourself a sub, though, do your research first and make sure what you're getting into. as a dom, you have a shit ton of responsibility in the relationship

    - a fellow dom

ultimately, quality is never guaranteed with anyone who has gotten inside the BDSM scene. you should always be careful, rely on gut feeling, and leave or stop the session/play immediately when you feel uncomfortable. personally, i pick and choose irl, so i don't use online sites much, BUT here are some i heard work well:

ALT/.com is a big one. this one might be a little intimidating to newbies at first, since it goes all out — and i mean /all/ out. gender options are men, women, and groups. pairs looking for cuckolding and whatnot.
this is more for irl meet ups as far as i'm aware, but naturally you can lead a long distance relationship through basically any medium if you want it bad enough. it's definitely not safe for work, since pfps can include nudes or fetish content, and made solely for adults. as in, above the age of 18. i know in some countries the age of consent is 16, but you don't want to be getting into fetish communities at that age.

FetLife/.com is especially good for newbies, seeing as it has options to explore different fetishes if you're not sure what you're into yet. it also has a big bondage & BDSM community — but is not solely meant for them. fetish doesn't automatically mean BDSM. it's completely free, and built more like social media than a fetish site, so... facebook, but in kinky. so it's great for talking to more experienced people in general and figuring out your boundaries, rules during plays & if you wanna go all out and make it your lifestyle or just a fun thing along the sidelines.

there's tons of guides on the internet, so if neither of these are for you, you really just need to search for BDSM (meet up) sites on google and it'll spit out some lists.

same goes for you! just check out my reply to miharu.

if you say "wannabe", i assume you're new to all of it. now i immediately feel compelled to give some (life saving) advice so strap in for a short rant.

    - never, ever let anyone cross your boundaries. if you get yourself a dom, and they cross your boundaries, they are to take responsibility. period. immediately interrupt the play, and don't try again for the rest of the day. of they don't apologize and take care of you, pack your bags and leave.

    - get with someone experienced first. they're less likely to make mistakes that could've easily been avoided & more likely to take good care of you.

    - always. use. a safeword. if you're using gags or similar, get a clicker. never ever start a play without being absolutely sure you can communicate that you want to stop if you need to.

that would be it; i'll try to avoid writing a whole essay. before you genuinely get into any relationship, though, read a little about the topic. it doesn't have to be much, but you should feel safe as you dive into whatever is your style. sites like thekinkyfactor/.com are great for all kinds of kinks and fetishes, and for shibari (japanese rope art) specifically, i use autostraddle/.com
