Yep! This whole stories appeal for me is the fact that there are to protagonists. I was expecting two point of views through the story switching between each twin or something, but after reading the spoilers I’m very disappointed. I might continue reading but I just feel like it might be wasted potential to be honest

why can’t arjen have his very own special guardian? why make them share and make it look so obvious that jason favours arien more? why make it a two main characters twin story if arjen is gonna end up inferior to arien? WHY DO THIS TO MY BOI? i’m sorry if i offend any of you but tbh arjen has great characteristics, from his cheekiness and his jokes and his laid back personality but also can be an aggressive angy kitten if you mess with him , whereas arien has that typical heroin trope character where she’s always in confusion and always in doubt, always asks questions, always feels bad for everyone, too kind and too nice for her own good. arjen has a great potential to also shine as one of the main characters but then wow look at this, i’m starting to see a pattern here that i’m not sure i like
