To determine which one of the characters that dokja really likes, but in the end its not really helpful since what dokja really loves is the story itself, meaning the whole journey and characters he has brought to that point is the "person he loves most" i think!! (=・ω・=)

The thing that kim dokja loves the most is the story of Ways of Survival, he wouldnt be alive right now if it werent for that story. Yoo Joonghyuk is the personification of the story Ways of Survival (it is literally his whole life story) and since the fate said [incarnation kim dokja will be killed by the person he loves most] it specifically asked for a person.

Theirs a line in the novel before Dokja was killed he realized that Parents,friends,lovers and acqauintances were stories and there was a story running towards him. That story that was running towards him was the Story he loved the most, Ways of Survival.

And as Ive said since Ways of Survival is basically Yoo Joonghyuk's whole life story, Yoo Joonghyuk is the personification of Ways of Survival, therefore the PERSON Kim Dokja loves the most is Yoo Joonghyuk. This is what I understood so far and Im convinced.
