"A Ring for the Greek's Baby" is also a really good one! As is "Matched to a Billionaire, Happily Ever After, Inc." I am about to read the other two Happily Ever After, Inc. ones, so not sure if they are as good yet.
I really, should be putting these in a list, since there are SO FEW really good Harlequin's with fantastic characters and good storylines. So many have toxic characters with toxic relationships. I think I will do that. And then, you can check the list as I update it, for more of these types of stories.
Just read them all in order and all loved them all. I like that the first wife didn't put up with the Secretary's BS and called her out on it, and that Alex LISTENED to his fiancee's concerns seriously, instead of writing them off as paranoia on her part. I also liked that when Rey found out about Rina, he didn't immediately go ballistic and took time to figure out what was really going on, using brains instead of just flying off the handle (like some characters in some books) and that Rina did try telling him the truth. And I loved that Mia did try to find Ben, but also protect her son and mother. All three women are strong, independent characters in their own right, who, while still vulnerable and with flaws, can also use their own strength to stand on their feet when necessary. And all three men are loving, caring and straight forward men who don't judge, don't jump to conclusions, listen, learn and RESPECT BOUNDRAIES (like Ben not paying off the hotel loan and Alex waiting until his wife was ready). ... By the GODS!!! Does this mean that I just read some Harlequin Romance "Novels" (i.e. manga based on novels), that actually had DECENT, LIKABLE characters with actual BRAINS, as well as HEALTHY, non-misogynistic and well-communicated relationships?!? ..... Excuse me a moment. I think I'm having a heart attack from surprise....
