I was molested as a kid and for a while it made me really dis like lesbians, I became very uncomfortable and I am normally a very accepting person, I'm not like that anymore but that just shows people can change even after they feel like that for so long :) if he was molested then he also is most likely in denial of his own sexuality, i was for the longest time but it gets better!
