I so agree with you but all the manga I have read it always end the same way .
After the male lead does something wrong to their partner or their family they end up being for giving by their partner.
I wonder if Yu will ever look the emperor the same way again, because if the emperor was my husband and he knew about my mother whereabout and how she died even if he did kill her I would forgive him nor would I be with him because everytime I would look at his face I would only see someone who was partially evolve in my mother death. They way he did say anything mean that he would have you threat him with his mother, how despicable.
That love I had for him would have fade away along with my life. Never to come back again but i guess that not what usually happens in manga

You all say that but Yu won't leave the emperor because Yu is still in love with him. Furthermore the emperor is the male lead so in the end they will still be together no matter he did wrong. So for once I would have love it if Yu could fall in love with someone else and left the emperor to die on his own.But I guess that's not going to happen because in the end Yu will forgive and they will act like this never happened.
