Maybe it's a cultural thing, but I don't really see an issue with step-siblings( hate that term) dating as long as they didn't grow up together? By that logic I think that dating a childhood friend would be just as gross idk

    I agree wholeheartedly with this statement. As long as they didn’t grow up together as siblings! Tbh i think it would just be awkward seeing both of y’all’s parents kissin up on each other lol

    It’s really strange in a legal sense. Because legally both of you are siblings and that is exactly how the world would see you, as “step-siblings”. So it is kind of still strange.

    I see what your talking about. But if step siblings date after their parents get together its very weird. Especially if the parents are married, its just very weird since that person is now apart of your family. In this case they were dating before finding out so whatever

    Also dating a childhood friend is a whole different situation, y'all have no family ties.I get what your trying to point out but that doesn't work. I'm not gonna see my childhood friends dad make out with my mom when we both go visit our parents house
