You're confued sweetie, that was a bad dream that Yaushi was having. Is Kousei such a jerk that he would cheat on his man in front of his own kid? Aside from that, the relationship between Shunji and Yasushi started with Yasushi blackmailing and raping him then telling him he was only with Shunji for the sex. Shunji had every right to feel insecure especially when the girl that Yasushi was depressed over started stalking him. He ran to the man that had been his safe harbor since his childhood. He didn't do anything worth hating him for.

@In defense of Shunji: Nope, Im not confused. I knew its was a bad dream he did dream of him, didnt he? Im more pissed about the cube thing, he was really insensitive about that. I never said Kousei cheated. Shunji did suck another guy, just not Koisei. Just because hes insecure, he went to stay at his old crush's house and told his bf later. I cant say thats smart. I hate him for other things too but I cant say much since I read it a long time ago and I didnt bother to reread such a manga with bad character like him.

He was being blackmailed by Jin. In the end he decided he would rather air out all his dirty secrets than abuse the trust of the guy he loved. Regarding the rubix cube, Kousei was a really important part of him surviving his crappy childhood and the rubix cube was a symbol of that. You'll notice that his preoccupation with the toy diminished as he love grew. That was its purpose.
I agree that he was violent, though. And I want to thank you. I actually spent more time thinking about Nakano's character and the Kanako mirror (that wasn't even subtle) because of your post and was able to glean a bit more from the story than I other wise would have, being all distracted by the manliness of Kano Shiuko's characters :)

@In defense of Shunji : ur welcome. I wish I can say something more to argue but to be honest, I dont remember much of the manga anymore. lol
