Right from the start I knew Tess would be some kind of a romantic interest for Arthur. Though I had continued wishing she wasn’t, she is anyway, so what could I do? See, the problem with this is the fact that Arthur is very much attached to his past life that it’s basically a part of him now (despite being reborn) hence when he fights, he’s not used to his body. I am okay with this in terms of his elemental attributes, fighting styles, and techniques. But.. it's a whole different topic when it comes to Romance or to Tess. It’s funny cause while Tessia thinks it’s fine, Arthur thinks it’s illegal And I totally get him, because his past life was like what.. 40-50 years worth of experiences and memories? He can’t simply erase it from his system and say “well my body is 13/12 years old anyway”. Like? His mentality is that of an adult’s, it’s not just “maturity”, but rather one that is an experienced veteran. Tess doesn’t know so I guess her reaction is just normal. But I think it’s best for her to give Arthur some time, or if she could, just leave him alone lol
