There's a lot of realistic elements in this story. I like that it's a bl set in kabuki primarily, something unique and a learning thing for me tbh. It's paced well and I love that they're a hug couple! I'm so used to seeing sex outta nowtere, plotholes that are glaringly obvious that this was a breath of fresh air. Genuine romance between two boys who want to achieve great things but also be together, it's truly rare huh? Even though every second book published is a bl with so much fetishization.
