Ask questions. Get him talking about him self. Like what do you like to do for fun? From his answers choose one and keep asking about that specific thing. There most likely a story behind it. Remember to active listen by rephrasing what he says and or make a follow up question from that. Also IF you like the guy be sure to mimick his posture. Like are his are crossed or of he's leaning to one side. Or if he touched his face. But most of all just be you. You are already a great person just by your taste of manga you read.
