It was an anthology of beasts in a more fantasy setting? Each chapter focused on a different relationship and the main setting was a school of magic. I remember one chapter involved a unicorn and an owl? And one with a cat trying to put a love potion on someone else (or other way around). I think the last chapter was two blood vampires biting each other for their blood (or it was one where a bear goes out in the woods to meet his human friend) I remember at the very least it was an interesting book even if some of the themes were... questionable.
