He's not a rapist who raped him for sexual gratification or revenge or smthng.Hes genuienly thinks that mc is in love with him and they're dating somehow.Its doesnt excuse his actions and he should be sentenced to time in prison (after a diagnosis) and get treatment before he ever makes it back to society, but i think he's very close to a schizophrenic or smthng. I did say it doesnt excuse what he did and that he should get tried for it as the court would see fit but there if there is a reason behind why a person does what he does especially if it criminal activity its important to look more into the matter than to just give conclusions based off of emotions.It helps prevent such crimes in the future as well.That why we look at criminal backstories and might end up feeling sad for them if the way they is a result from abuse they suffered as a child, tho they do (as they should) get punished for it.
Looking into the stories helps prevent such incidents in future and also prevent trauma that might make people into rapists and murderers.

Id agree if the attacker was drugged,disillusioned by mental problems and the victims say,"idc they should be hanged" and i believe is completely justified on their part and it'd be ridiculous to expect them to be an angel.If someone else has been a victim of sexual assault and feels that way towards this attacker that also is reasonable but as a third person judging this situation i would look at both sides of the coin and if possible try to help them both.

It's fine if you feel that making the rapist suffer is the best solution but for me would be the rape not happening in the first place hence eradicating the root cause of it.Because even if you do punish them the harm had already been done to an innocent soul.

It's the fact that Harada doesn't seem to be primarily about depicting rape as it is, but rather about the perspective from the protagonist. Reo loves him with all his heart. But the occurrences and differences between their personalities make it impossible to convey that. He doesn't even know that it's not seen the way he feels. But that doesn't make him dumb. I'm sorry for him and it's a shame that everyone immediately demonises him just because his character doesn't conform to the norm. I hope he finds someone who can understand him and reciprocate his feelings.
