He clearly has abandonment issues. His parents died, his grandmother hates him, his cousin (redhead) bullied him, he always was a loner. Suha (even in their childhood) was the only one he got along with relatively well. In his eyes, Suha is the only one who cares for him, and now that he has had a taste of comfort and love, he's making sure never to lose it (in his own twisted way).
