Yep. Exactly what i thought. I'm amazed so many people like this manga... There's not even an ounce o love...
You know, i reread this quite a lot. It didn't get better at all... I don't think you're missing anything. I also had that thought but i came to the same conclusion whether reading this for the first or last time.
So you're telling me i should just forgive this douche bag of a seme just because the story continues? Or hope that he actually loves him? Or it's just a case of "boy who bullies the one he likes"?
This manga was an eye-opener. With most mangas i just got swept along and fell into the trap, thinking "he treats him like shit but i'm sure he loves him". No. You shouldn't accept something like that. I'm feeling no remorse from him. Clear case: he's an asshole who manipulates the people around him. If i fell in love with him i'd be doomed. I don't want to continually pity the uke.
Sry. I got a bit too direct. But think about it. Most stories continue from this point on and at the end he's 'kind of' sorry everyone's happy all is well. But this will have such a negative impact on a (possible) relationship later on, both emotional and physical. It's kind of half-assed. It's like a fairy tale. 'They lived happily ever after.' No one cares about the after effects of an abused cinderella, nearly killed snow white, frog-turned prince or comatose sleeping beauty. (Those weren't caused by the lover, just a comparison)

:D You're right. But you know, sometimes something just bothers you so much, you need to let off steam ;)
And it just doesn't sit well with me, when everyone has the same opinion. Seems too much like self-adulation. (●'◡'●)ノ
Ok! I don't like this story (maybe because of the story is uncompleted, yes manga completed but story isn't) and i can't feel love, seme is just bullying the uke.
