While I think he looks very badass and handsome with his yakuza costume, and don't doubt he would do a great job protecting Aki, I don't think it's for him. Like he said, Ueda enjoys getting to know people and helping them. He couldn't do it as yakuza! He would actually have to hurt people and I think that it would break him after some time.
