OKAY, so Mikasa ended up with Jean and they had a family but they kept visiting Eren's grave until further generations, then Mikasa died out of old age. After some years or decades, there sparked a war and Mikasa's descendant or reincarnation (maybe) found Eren's tree with a hole which was a fitting hiding place (because of the missles and all). Eren still protects Mikasa / her descendant TRUE LOVE YALL
Would have been cute if Eren were to be reincarnated as well (if that were the case for Mikasa) but oof, knowing AOT, this wouldnt be a suitable storyline reeeeee
