when i began reading this i was hopeful that we'd finally get what we didn't get in the original series. the feelings and actions of the characters after satoru fell into the coma. we were given glimpses, but by the time we had any clear expressions, they had all moved on with their lives and essentially moved past him, feeling little else but guilt and pity. judging by the pacing and the fact that hina seemed to reach the "im over it" point by the end of chapter 1, it doesn't seem like we'll be getting any conclusive feelings or reflections from the characters here either. at least we got more of satoru's mum though. I'll stick around for that alone.
