Why start something you won't finish?

And to scanlators... why finish something that isn't done, and leave completed manga unscanlated

That's not what I'm talking about. Why even start translating an unfinished work that you KNOW won't be finished. It's highly stupid.

Not really. A lot of people who want to read the story but doesn’t understand the original language of the story was in which is in this case japanese? (I could be wrong.) not stupid at all since people who wanna read the story can read it. Even if it’s probably won’t ever be finished/continued that doesn’t stop people from reading it and loving it. Basically like when an author passed away leaving behind their unfinished books does that stop people from reading them? No. And luckily people actually translate the story that are unfinished cause even if the stories are unfinished that doesn’t stop most of them from actually being good even if it won’t be completed.
