So my theory is her sister killed herself (she asked the monk about suicide, ghost that looks like her follows her around, had a panic attack because she had to call out “sis”) and the reason why the monk chose one hour was because that’s what her sister asked of her back before she killed herself. If she could give her just one hour of her time. My next theory which arguably isn’t as well supported is that their souls are the monks parents reincarnated. Or at least that they remind him of them. After meeting them he had a bad dream about missing his parents, plus he connects with them very quickly. It would be cute at the very least!
