Yesss! I was pretty much ranting abt the same thing concerning a different manga, but damn do authors love rape/struggle love. As u said they rlly expect us to be satisfied wit the 2 ml. Like congrats on not completly being a morally depraved asswipe, am I supposed to like u?!! And what Hideyoshi allegedly does is kinda worse than rape or comparable at least imo (...well I'll have to read to find out) This is why I'm team Yukimura, even tho he be sus.

THIS IS MY OPINION BUT MY GOODNESS THERE'S SOMETHING I REALLY DONT LIKE ABOUT AUTHORS TBH
They always make the ml at first trashy and then give them a sad backstory so like they can be forgiven/redempted or smth. But I wont even if I saw the spoilers of others about the ml what he did on CHAP 12 IS ATTEMPTED RAPE NO MATTER WHAT. I will never like him even what kind of sad story or background the author brings up for him. As for Hideyoshi or maybr 2nd ml and yuki for 3rd or idk but WHY DO AUTHORS HAVE TO MAKE THE SOFT LOOKING AND ATLEAST THE MOST DECENT PERSON TO BE EVIL OR DISGUSTING IN SECRET like they always give the 2nd ml a story/background of doing something even worse than the ml so that all the hatred can go to him and like some people would start hating him and then go back to ml again like UGHHH. I really did like hideyoshi but UGH.... why you gotta give him a bad future or smth just so the ml can look better or smth.. AWHHH IDK ANYMORE THIS MANGA REALLY IS IMMACULATE AND HEAVENLY in terms of art but the story makes me frustrated. I've probably have been reading too much manga's which is why I can somewhat say in a way that authors kinda make the 2nd ml always like this which frustrates me. Idk if this is a style in order to capture the attention of the readers or what but goddamn..
