Obviously these people didn't really pay attention the story, otherwise they'd know that he has to be a prostitute. The orphanage needs money, and the only way that akatsuki can get money is through prostitution cause he's uneducated and a commoner. And then he finds out that only a highclass prostitute can get into the castle or whatever to see anyone of the royal family. So now he HAS to be a prostitute to see sagami, and akatsuki said that he'd rather die than not be able to see him. So he's got no choice
