I would not believe any thing like that until it comes from an off. source like the pub. in Jpn. Things are in a uproar right now. and there has been no off. public annouce. follow threads below please.

I guess that would make sense, if Libre can actually make them do that. Would make Sublime's business easier.

This is stuff from the previous pub.?

Juné Manga is reporting that Akadot is experiencing "technical difficulties" at this time (I'll bet!) I think all three of the sites you mentioned are tied together.

Can Libre actually do that? Make them pull all their existing inventory of VF?! Holy crap!

Well, I think that is basically what it says in Libre's press release (see post above). QUOTE: "The agreement was terminated some time ago under just cause due to a breach of contract, with DMI granted a sell-off period for any remaining stock."

So at some point in the very near future, that sell-off period will end.

For what it's worth, Akadot is working finde now, and volumes are currently still available.

What are the chances there will be a huge last minute sale to move the last of their stock before the deadline?

Good question, AG, I have been wondering the same thing. The thing is: When Libre says that the contract was "terminated some time ago" and that DMI was "granted a sell-off period for any remaining stock."... What exactly does that entail? How long ago is "some time ago"? How long is the "sell-off period"? How much stock still remains?

I wouldn't put it past DMI to have such a last minute sale, although that's just me purely guessing here. But I mean, it makes sense ,doesn't it. There is nothing else they can do (or rather, are allowed to do) with this stock after the deadline (except use it to set fire to the Libre HQ, I guess! ;) Just kidding.). How do you say in English? EVERYTHING MUST GO. :) But your guess is as good as mine...

I have the Japanese and the English Volumes up to now. I am pondering whether I should buy a second set in English from Akadot while these volumes are still available or wait and see what is going to happen at the SuBLime front and what they are going to do in terms of possibly re-releasing the previous volumes. I really don't know yet... :/

I am glad I 'm not the only one hoping for a sale (silver linings and all that). I do think I'm cheaper than most fans. In my mind, it goes like this:

[After reading that the English publisher lost the license]

Good fans: Oh no! How will we get the next volume?
Me: Will there be a sale?

LMAO! You are a practical thinker, AG, I like that! :) Kindred spirits and all that, ;)
