As far as I remember Chopper said on Thriller Bark that the way Luffy uses his abilities takes a toll on his health/lifespan as. Since Thriller Bark I believe that Luffy will end in a similar way like Roger.
Exactly. As the other two guys said. Luffy's Gear attacks take away his life every time he uses them. Rob Lucci said it once. Then Ivankov doped/prolonged his life twice at the cost of his life span. I think it was 30 years in total that have been stolen from Luffy. But he agreed in order to save Ace :(
Sooo Luffy's lifespan will be cut short again?? Nice. I bet he's going to be dead by the time One Piece ends. Or has to be rescued by Trafalgar Law's one-time ability to rescue a life in exchange for his own..
