i'm asian and let me tell you, being in a relationship (no matter what degree, second or third) is a taboo. idk where you got the information from but it's wrong.
Idk why y’all think Asia consists only of 3-4 countries when it has so much more with totally different culture. Yes well I thought many asian counties do allow it but seems y’all Asians (in comment section even tho I don’t believe everyone saying the truth) say it’s a taboo.. ok i get your point and good for you..., now I can still tell you that it’s normal for many cultures and countries. No but as you said yourself, It did exists but it still does. No need to feel Attacked. It’s not like I think it’s good cuz I’m also against it 100% , yet it did and does exist for still many cultures. And familys. For example when the women can’t find a man so they merry the family... or when the family wants their family tree to grow further. It still exists which is weird but I’m not them nor are you so er don’t know why they do so. Yet my Best friend is going through a process where she has to merry her cousin because the family thinks it was meant to be. Well it’s stupid but true. And she is asian.... yet I don’t believe that many allow it cuz it’s a taboo or course but it was not always So. um, of course i know asia has 40+ countries? and i also know that some countries do allow it however, you stated that its "not a big deal in korea or any other asian countries" when in fact majority of east and southeast asian countries have a negative attitude towards this kind of relationship. if we're talking about central asia then yeah, some of the countries there has a long standing practice of this. also, i know that it exist i never said it wasn't.
Yes don’t worry and I took my first statement back in one of my responses. but as for the rest, I ain’ talking that back cuz I don’t think it’s wrong either. When I responded to the first comment „ I don’t think it’s a big deal“.. I said „I don’t think“ I never said „I‘m 100% sure“ I just responded with my own opinion and own knowledge. Yes I mixed up all asian countries which is stupid and my knowledge doesnt have to be always right but I know for a fact that it happens often and to people I know that are 100% asian from the east part too.
