I would like to say that the purple head vampire is also worrying about the wolf because wolf is the most respectable business man in their world being the man with 5 consecutive title of being the richest man in their world.
The purple head vampire has also thought on leaving them right, for their own good, for their own image in their society right? Me too it pisses me off when the purple haired guy just brushes them off like nothing right? But the wolf also pisses me off because if he wants to protect the purple haired vampire he would've left him and form a plan without the purple haired vampire... and when things got a little lighter he would get back to the purple haired vampire
But unfortunately he chose not to cause he likes Xia Xu... it is the author's story, let them make Xia Xu and Bai Li make a decision for their own good because he all know they're gonna end up with each other... well if not... that's sucks and this all is my opinion and I'm just gonna leave it here
