Spoiler:
There's a comment saying the guy in the mirror is a prince from another kingdom who was put in the mirror with some kind of curse and he will eventually marry princess blanche. I don't remember where i red this spoiler but i think it's a spoiler from a website with people who already red the novel.
My personal opinion of this is kind of Meh, the prince and the princess has a large age gap if you really think about it. Since he seems to be atleast 19 in the mirror and blanche is under 12 or so, if blanche comes at a marragebla age, won't you think the prince is a little too old? And considering he watched blanche grow up... thus his majesty's friend when her soulmate was only a child? Tho, i don't really judge the age gap since my parents is 10 years apart from each other, i'm just creeped out by the fact he watched blanche grow up, it seems like a pedophile vibe to me, no offense
You mean the prince and the queen together??? Nope, i think the relationship of the queen and king is the main focus here considering their relationship come and goes, princess blanche will be part reason for this relationship to improve. So it's kind of not possible for the prince of a neighboring kingdom will end up with the queen. Instead, the relationship between the queen and king will improve. And for the fact that they're married and the king is not planning on divorce makes it a bit more complicated for the two (queen and prince) to end up together.
Ps. Still not going for blanche X prince of a neighboring kingdom thing
its normal during their time. Folktale Snow White married 28 or 31yr old Prince. She was 14 or 15 when she left to be hunted by the hunter.
Theoretically the Prince in the folktale is not a crown prince since crown prince back then get engage as early as 7yrs old. He is just a normal 2nd or 3rd prince who didn't marry or engage for political reasons. But if you all think about it in a political standpoint This Prince looking for a Princess or Crown Princess who will inherit a kingdom just like Hans in Frozen. The Queen in Snow White is what you called a regent. All political powers are hers until Snow White came of age (15 back then). So she really is againts Snow White marrying or being engage at that point in the story. The Queen also failed to have heirs with the dead king so that was it.
Snow White from the old versions I read really want to leave the Queen's guardianship even if the case is to be married early. But Queen block all her exits/routes. Queen has also been killing the youth in their kingdom (this people who posses beauty men and women) - there is also war so imagine these young folks dying on the front lines. So by the time she escape, most of the men same of her age are either engage, married or dead.
Oh shoot, really? Tho it's still creepy watching blanche grow up but that lessen my worry.
Spoiler:
I heard that the king is actually raped by blanche's mother so he closed his heart but that doesn't mean he could be cold to his wife and daughter tho i understand him. So i'm rooting for the queen and king

Not me simping over a goddam mirror
