You all realize that marriage between first cousins were allowed back in those times. I mean take Jane Austen Pride and Prejudice, Darcy’s mom and aunt were planning his and his first cousin to marry. Also Mansfield park Edmund and Fanny were first cousins and actually got married. If you read the old version of Merry Shellys Frankenstein, Dr. Frankenstein and his cousin get married.
