The thing is, it's fiction, actually reading fiction and not applying it isn't hard at all, it doesn't require a genius, idk why some ppl can't do it. Also, let's just say it's not fiction, the story is more of a historical one, they're not like us!! We're not "nOrMaLiZing" here, we're just telling their story and what happened in the past! Game of Thrones, and etc have incest and all because at those times, it wasn't sooo forbidden like it is now, maybe it's allowed even, idk i dont watch it personally.
For instance, do u expect a war that happened BCE to stop just because u bought ur phone while sitting on the side and typed a rant on twitter about how bad wars are? When reading fictional works and historicals, u need to put urself in their shoes and not the other way around because that's the only way to appreciate the story. We're not normalizing, it's just how it is back then.
I've also said this multiple times in the comment section of ENNEAD. I mean I know it doesn't take a genius to read works like these, but we should probably put a test before allowing ppl to read historical/fictional works. It's saddening that we have to, besides I can't believe dumb ppl who still need to take the test exist. Smh.
