I actually do the same thing. I tend to take a break from webtoon and let myself binge so whenever this updates I go to Webtoon and like and comment on the episode
I genuinely don't mind if you do notification thingy and then go and support the author on the official site. but my only problem is with people like these asshole "Amoiyahhh" who keep telling us that shut fxuk up about supporting the author on the official site for literally free and that we are no better just cuz we are trying to encourage readers to read this on the official webtoon for free so the author can get her coin.
The main reason why most of us are on mangago is cuz we are broke and can't pay for chapters on lezhin and other webtoon paying sites it doesn't mean we don't want to support the author or anything.
The least we illegal readers can do is that we support the work that's already free.

I personally love that there is always someone talking about how this is free in webtoon so people know and can go read it there. Passing the information is not bad at all

Yes and the author seems really sweet, so I hope she gets as much coin as she can. I also hope she gets published soon, especially because Webtoon is starting to add more and more stories
I like to keep the count of the works I read in just one place (having multiple accounts and trying to remember in which one is marked the last update of a work is hard to say the less), so I mark chapters here but I read them on weebtoons, would that work for some people here? Like, that is uploaded here doesn't mean you need to read it here when you can go support it on weebtoons.
If that's not enough, then how about keeping uploading just like the notification that the new chapter is now available in weebtoons without actually uploading the chapter? Maybe just a couple of images reporting that chapter is now up and for me to mark it as read here so I can keep count? :D
Maybe I'm the only one that does that? I keep count of the stories here, so if I'm honest, if they just stop having at least the notification here that a new chapter is up, I'll just forget about the story and stop read it, and I don't want that ┗( T﹏T )┛
